Say hello to CHROMATONE v1, the plugin that's about to level up your colorbass game big time. Inspired by Chroma by Xynth Audio, it's like having a secret weapon in your FL Studio Patcher toolbox.
CHROMATONE v1 is designed to shape and transform your sounds with a clean, intuitive interface. You’ll find all the essential sliders and knobs you need, plus the KEY SELECT view where you can lock in your key, choose scales, or even input your own chords with the MIDI button. It’s a fast and creative way to colorise your sound.
Because it’s built completely in FL Studio Patcher, you don’t need any 3rd-party plugins to get going—it’s ready to run out of the box. Everything integrates seamlessly with your workflow, so you can focus less on setup and more on creating.
Whether you’re after subtle shifts or full-on colored basslines, CHROMATONE v1 gives you the tools to push your sound further and keep your creativity flowing. It’s all about unlocking new possibilities for producers who want their sound to stand out.
How to use:
- Route the sound you want to colorise to a mixer track.
- Load the CHROMATONE v1 patch on that track.
- In your Channel Rack, add a MIDI Out and set its port to 0 (the default).
- Open the Piano Roll and create a long note—running from C4 to B4 usually works best.
- Finally, layer that MIDI pattern underneath your sound.
And that’s it—you’re ready to start colorising your sound with CHROMATONE v1.
⚠️ Quick note: CHROMATONE v1 isn’t a 1:1 copy of Chroma. Instead of using EQ boosting and frequency cuts, it takes a different route by using Vocodex as the vocoder carrier to colorize your sounds. That means the results won’t be identical, but you’ll get a fresh, powerful way to explore sound colorisation that feels right at home in FL Studio.
